Andrea Doran (Massage and Holistic Therapy)

Andrea Doran has been an advocate of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) for almost 20 years and began working professionally in CAM in 2001 as an Assistant Clinic Manager for a large holistic health clinic in Glasgow. Prior to this, she worked in Analytical Chemistry in the medical and pharmaceutical industry for over 10 years. This has provided Andrea with a unique perspective and an insight into health using both conventional approaches and holistic methods.

Holistic Therapies

Andrea combines various therapeutic techniques and healing modalities to help manage your own specific health needs. She provides tailored treatment plans with personalised ongoing support – each treatment is as individual as you are.

Andrea provides Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Trigger Point Techniques, Hand and Foot Reflexology and Energy Medicine, including Reiki and Crystal Therapy. She has a person centred approach, specialising in supporting clients with a wide range of conditions, including Arthritis, MS, Autoimmune Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Alzheimer’s Disease.

Andrea is the only Holistic and Horticultural Therapist in Glasgow to be trained in Epilepsy Awareness Training and HeartStart First Aid Training.

Therapeutic Horticulture and Teaching

Andrea is also a qualified Horticulturist and Garden Designer, working in Therapeutic Horticulture, using plants and gardens to improve physical, mental and emotional health. She has extensive teaching and tutoring experience, having facilitated professional therapy courses and workshops, and lectured in Horticulture in further education. She also teaches Reiki Training Courses for Levels 1, 2 and Master and facilitates the Flourish Reiki Sharing Circle.

Andrea is a registered member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, the UK and Ireland’s largest professional association for complementary and sports therapists.
